For the price point of this frame, I think it's a good buy. I purchased 3 of them. They were packaged well -- each frame was wrapped in bubble wrap, and placed in a plastic envelope (of course, they arrived in a box). The plastic sheet that serves as the "glass" is thick enough that it will lay flat, and stay in place nicely. The plastic sheet has a protective film on both sides keeping it free from scratches or marks that might happen in packaging. The frame itself is not what you might refer to as "real" wood, but rather a pressed wood -- they are very light weight. There were no chips, dents, or other marks on the frame. There are 2 metal teeth hooks for hanging either in portrait or landscape position. From experience I know that a plain wooden frame of similar style would cost around $40 (if I could even find this size), so I think this frame is priced fairly for what it is. It's a good looking frame, and serves its purpose for me.I purchased two of these frames not expecting the quality you would get from a local shop. As others have stated, the materials used aren't the best in the world. The plexiglass is indeed very thin, but that does make the frame very light which is a bonus I guess. The plexiglass does come with a film on both sides, and if you don't remove both you will have a cloudy image. This is likely what another review was complaining about.Ultimately it comes down to whether it looks good on your wall with whatever you put in it. In this instance, the frame accomplishes that with ease. I have no complaints about the product, but do wish the plexiglass was a little thicker.Perfect. Just as advertised. No issues whatsoever. I was looking for a frame that was convenient and easy to use. This one comes with hooks already attached to the back, which is hard to find to be honest because most frames this size require ridiculous wiring to hang and you've got to play handyman/woman to get it right. I'm not a handy person at all. This frame is as simple to hang as you're going to get. I love that the glass for the larger frames are plexi. I have a cat and nephews so if this falls, I'm very happy to know that there won't be shards of glass everywhere. The plexiglass looks stunning. All in all, I am completely satisfied with this and recommend this to anyone in the market for a simple, inexpensive, quality frame. The delivery was fairly quick and the item was packaged to perfection.Great frames. Purchased them before, but they were less expensive at that time. Price has gone up this past yr. Doubled in price. But wanted identical frames so purchased them again.I have purchased several sizes of this style of frame. All of them have arrived promptly in great shape and look really nice on a wall! The frames are sturdy and easy to take apart and reassemble as well, and the clear panes in the front are shipped with easy-to-remove protective film on both sides. (For comparison, I recently purchased a cheaper frame from Walmart for a different piece of artwork, and I had trouble even putting the art into the Walmart frame without that frame cracking and coming apart.)I love the minimalistic design. The 13x19 picture that I had intended to place inside of it ended up fitting perfectly. Essentially, it does its job nicely.I would have given this a 5-star rating, but after a while of owning this and touching it very rarely to reposition it, there's now a noticeable chip in one of the corners. I'm guessing it has always been there because I don't believe I've ever touched the front of the frame. It's not terrible, but it's there.I got three of these frames, all the same size and color. While they do get the job done once they're on the wall, they are definitely not quality made nor do they appear to be able to withstand a lot of picture changes. The backing (cardboard) is held in place with staples that look like they'll break off once they have been bent back and forth a few times. The "glass" cannot even be called plastic, as it is a thin flexible sheet of film ("flexible" as in you can roll it up into a tube). Again, once it's hanging on the wall you can't tell too much, but if you like to change the pictures in your frames often, this will almost certainly break on you. This is a pretty good frame for the price. I buy these when I get a promo poster or something I don't need professionally framed. They are made out of composite wood and come with thin plexiglass. They are cheaply made, but look pretty good on the wall. If you are the type of person who would buy a frame from wal-mart, this is for you.
